            Summer Academy

            Summer Academy combines Indianapolis Classical Schools’ Core Values and the Harrison Center’s Global Vision for the Arts to create a unique learning experience for your student’s academic and artistic goals during the summer.

            Quick Facts:

            • Summer Academy classes are taught by Indianapolis Classical Schools teachers and affiliates.
            • Summer Academy courses meet Indiana State Standards.
            • Summer Academy is from 8:00AM to 2:00PM on Herron High School’s campus.
            • Summer Academy attendance is required for incoming 9th graders who need academic remediation, as identified by their academic record and placement testing results. Families will be notified if their student is required to attend Summer Academy.
            • Summer Academy attendance is also required for rising sophomore students who fail a core subject course during their freshman year.

            Summer Academy Dates

            Session 1 – Thursday, June 11 to Tuesday, June 30
            Session 2 – Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 31
